Gloucester Gate, Regent's Park, NW1

Just about the only scene in the Camden-set Withnail & I to be filmed in NW1 is the end scene, with Withnail (Richard E Grant) reciting Hamlet to the wolves in their zoo enclosure. The wolves are gone now.

Trivia: most of the film was shot in Notting Hill. The flat has been demolished, but the ‘Mother Black Cap’ lives on as a classy restaurant.
