38 Pembroke Square, Earl's Court, SW5

Pembroke SquareSite of probably the first matter-of-factly unsensational gay kiss in mainstream cinema. Dr Daniel Hirsh (Peter Finch) lived here in John Schlesinger's Sunday Bloody Sunday. The crew was somewhat taken aback when the famously heterosexual Finch and Murray Head puckered up, as they'd assumed the relationship was uncle and nephew. Bless.
