Rosmead Gardens, Rosmead Road, W11

The private communal garden, into which William Thacker (Hugh Grant) and Anna Scott (Julia Roberts) climb in Notting Hill, is Rosmead Gardens, Rosmead Road, and it’s not quite so cutesy as it looks in the movie. This really is a private garden, by the way, so don’t even think about trying the same trick (there’s more of a drop than “Whoops-a-daisy!” would suggest).
