One of the new breed of minimalist designer hotels, actress-turned-architect-and-interior-designer Anouska Hempel’s drop-dead stylish white-on-white Hempel Hotel is the ideal place to unwind and chill out. The Hempel’s Zen Garden, across the road from the hotel, is the suitably chic venue for the wedding reception of Hollywood glam queen Anna Scott (Julia Roberts) and her unlikely new husband William Thacker (Hugh Grant) at the end of Notting Hill.
