Blackman’s Shoes, 42-44 Cheshire Street, E2

Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels, Cheshire StreetOn the corner of Grimsby Street, this shoe store is the exterior of ‘Hatchet’ Harry’s office (“Harry Lonsdale: Porn King”) in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. The wood-panelled interior, though, is Bethnal Green Town Hall.

Repton Boxing ClubA little further east on Cheshire Street (just off the map), on the north side is Repton Boys Club, where the boxing-mad Kray twins once worked out. This is used as the site of the catastrophic 3-card-brag game in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, as well as becoming Terence Rigby’s boxing club, where he’s quizzed by US cop Harvey Keitel in Danny Cannon’s The Young Americans.

Trivia: it's claimed that Blackman’s was the first store to stock Doc Martens in the UK.
