Victoria Square, a quietly enclosed haven in the bustle surrounding Victoria Station, became ‘Wickham Place’, home of the Schlegel sisters (Emma Thompson and Helena Bonham Carter) in the Merchant-Ivory adaptation of Henry James’s Howards End. Their house was was 6 Victoria Square.
