3 Henrietta Street was the flat of the ‘Necktie Strangler’, Robert Rusk (Barry Foster), in Alfred Hitchcock’s Frenzy, where Hitch pulls off the eerie silent tracking shot down the stairs and into the street.

Watch for the craftily disguised cut from the interior stairwell (which was a studio set) to the real doorway, as the market porter carrying a sack of potatoes passes in front of the camera.
